Yes, this is completely normal. We use the smallest amount of flour to preserve the delicate and light texture of our cakes. The slight moisture on the surface is a natural result of this technique.
No, our cakes are not vegetarian or vegan as they contain ingredients such as shrimp, lap cheong (Chinese sausage), and other non-plant-based elements.
We recommend steaming or pan-frying our turnip cakes to bring out their full flavor and achieve the best texture. Simply heat them gently to enjoy their delicious taste.
Yes! We will be doing turnip cake sales drops with special editions throughout the year. Stay tuned for more info!
We always recommend the beetroot and taro flavor for your first time! However, we’ve spent a lot of time perfecting all of our flavors and truly believe that each one is delicious—if we didn’t love it, we wouldn’t put it out there!
We slice our vegetables in two ways, but we wanted to achieve the thickest mouthfeel possible without large pieces falling out. By cubing them, it’s easier for you to slice without sacrificing the texture. It’s all about providing the perfect bite!
We spend a lot of time sourcing our ingredients, from local produce to premium dried seafood. We keep things pure in our kitchen, so you won’t find MSG, chicken powder, and we generally use very little sugar—if any. Quality and authenticity are our top priorities.
